Many third world countries do not have the money to pay for expensive ostomy supplies, and due to recent wars, famine, and natural disasters the demand is growing.

For example, the Addis Ababa Fistula Hospital in Ethiopia carries out 1,200 interventions a year for women that have suffered horrific childbirth injuries. The hospital needs support to rebuild lives and restore dignity every day.
