Criteria:
A nurse who gives outstanding individual attention, responds well to the needs of patient's families, demonstrates professional excellence and furthers the field of stoma care. May also be a nurse who is involved in charity or support group activities. This may be a nurse from any part of the nursing profession.

Nomination Text: Claire was already highly regarded by her patients when some time ago she attended a meeting of Wessex Urology Support Group and volunteered herself to attend all the group meetings to offer help and advice to patients.

Award winner Lindsey Morgan has moved to Australia, so as we went to press had not yet received the award, but said “What fantastic news, I did not know that I had even been nominated. It’s truly a great way to remember my time in the UK and all the wonderful patients who gave so much to me”.
