Nomination Text: I think Oakmed deserve the award because they have created a bag flange which is not made from thick plastic/plaster like the others. Their flange is a very thin film which gives you reassurance - the flange is not going to peel off your skin. Oakmed bags have changed my outlook on life with a stoma. I have tried many bags in the past and they all fell off my skin, irritated my skin or were thick and uncomfortable. My old bags would only last about 12 hours before it needed changed - my Oakmed bags last as long as I want to wear them.

With such a strong shortlist of highly innovative products, the judges felt it would be impossible to select one product above the others, so have agreed to place them all as joint winners.  In future this category will be open to a public vote.
